The Technology Center "Am Borsigturm"

The technology center "Am Borsigturm" was created in three construction phases until 2001. Today, the two four floors building complexes are the home of companies specializing in communications and traffic technology as well as start-ups in future fields of software development, multimedia and environmental technology.

The building, constructed in brick style, is on the ground floor equipped with production areas. Office and service areas have been located in the areas above, so that a synergy between development, production and sales can be achieved.

Barrier-free to the workplace

The offered, approximately 320 m² large commercial space is located on the 1st floor of the rear building complex. The building was built barrier-free, so that you can reach the floors by using the elevator as well as the stairs to all floors.

Well-equipped and customizable

The space itself currently is a community office with computer cabling for about 16 workplaces. In addition, two electromechanical laboratories have been set up, each connected to the community office via one access point. In the front area of the office, is a meeting room, a server room and a tea kitchen. In the back of the office you will find two restrooms. Lage

The technology center is located in the northwestern district of Berlin-Tegel. The industrial and commercial area was built at the end of the 19th century as the largest train production in Europe. It was known under the name “Borsigwerke”, named after the company founder August Borsig.

Today, the “Borsigwerke” are one of the most important industrial and commercial areas in Berlin. Around the “Borsigturm” you will find a hotel, various office buildings and the “Borsighallen”, a popular shopping arcade. Especially for lunch break many employees of various companies meet here in the food court of the arcade.

The area is very well connected to many traffic options. From the Technology Center to the U-Bhf. "Borsigwerke" (U6) is about 5 to 7 minutes by foot. Even by taking the city highway you can quickly reach the beautiful outskirts of Berlin or in the city center. Tegel Airport is about 15 minutes away.
